Red Bud Nursing Home is not just a place of residency; it s a place where patient and caretaker can turn when strength and spirit are in need of a jumpstart. The Nursing Home is uniquely suited to the needs of area senior citizens as a private, 115-bed, skilled nursing facility. We provide skilled and long-term nursing care in a homelike environment. Our small size allows for more personalized care and is conveniently connected to the hospital through an enclosed walkway, guarantying access to physician appointments or advanced care for urgent situations. Providing a safe, secure environment for short-term or long-term care is our focus.
Specific types of care available at Red Bud Nursing Home are:
- Skilled - Short term. Typically meant for patients requiring post-surgical rehabilitation like hip fractures.
- Long-term Care - Residents and families may select Red Bud Nursing Home as the resident's permanent home for continued personal, medical, social and spiritual support.
- Hospice - For residents with a terminal illness.
Residents at Red Bud Nursing Home will find an array of comprehensive medical services and related care available including:
- 24-hour nursing care by registered and licensed practical nurses and certified nurse assistants.
- Rehabilitation services including physical, speech and occupational therapy.

Other amenities include van transportation to local appointments, a personal shopper, a daily newsletter detailing scheduled activities, beauty shop and laundry service.
All rooms are semi-private. Residents are however, encouraged to bring personal belongings, such as pictures or a favorite quilt, to make their surroundings familiar and homelike.
Residents desiring to cook can make their favorite dish in our independent living kitchen as part of our activity program. We also have space available for special family get-togethers.
Families are encouraged to visit residents, take residents out for a weekend at home, and to be a part of the care planning process.
