When seeking any services at Red Bud Regional, it is very important that you bring your insurance identification cards, a signed order from your physician and/or any necessary referrals from your physician office.

On the day of your test, please try to arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment for registration. The registration department is located north of the main lobby. General registration hours are Monday through Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Direct admissions to the hospital are handled in the Registration department as well. Patients entering the hospital for admission should stop in the registration department before going to third floor. The registration staff will explain why your signature is needed on various consents before taking you to your room. During this time, they will also notify the nurse station of your arrival. Then, you will have the option to walk or be escorted in a wheelchair to your designated room. If you do not stop by the registration desk beforehand, the staff will come to your room to attain your signature and insurance information.

Outpatient Surgery:

Once you have decided to have surgery, your surgeon's office will notify the hospital's scheduling department. An appointment for pre-admission testing and a surgery date will be given to you by the doctor's office. Orders for pre-admission testing (i.e. blood work, chest x-ray, EKG) and a preadmission testing booklet will be given to you by your surgeon to bring with you on ;the day of your appointment.

In an effort to process patients in a timely manner, either you or your doctor's office will be contacted for pre-registration information. Information collected will include your name, date of birth, address, insurance information, etc. We will notify you of any financial responsibility not covered by your insurance.

Please bring your driver's license, insurance cards and/or insurance forms with you for the registration clerk. If you are unable to keep your pre-admission testing appointment, please call 282-3831 ext. 300 to reschedule.
